Description
This is a reel of my work from 2009 to early 2010. The first half is mainly examples from my various motion graphics projects, while the second half is clips from my music videos with Hot Hot Heat and a film project I am directing entitled, Beretta Baby. Through projects from my program at Emily Carr University, commissions through theFUTURISTS.ca or passion projects taken on by me and my collaborators, learning the art of storytelling through a time based medium has been my focus over the last 4 years. Learning various tools like Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Cinema 4D is only the start, as at the end of the day they are only tools. My philosophy is that creativity is a muscle, and it needs to be exercised on a continual basis and in various ways, in order for it to grow. This is only the beginning for me, as this summer holds many exciting projects in the works. Stay tuned...
